Olivia Culpo scored a touchdown with her mother-in-law. cute
The former Miss Universe showed off her incredible relationship with husband Christian McCaffrey's mom Lisa McCaffrey as the two cheered on the San Francisco 49ers running back's 2024 season debut at the Nov. 9 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
And while Christian took the field for the first time since his injury with bilateral Achilles tendinitis, Olivia and Lisa were hard at work on TikTok. Prior to the match, Olivia shared a glimpse of her and her mother-in-law on their flight to the game. In the Nov. 10 clip, Lisa and Olivia mouthed Paris Hilton's iconic, "And if you're not having fun? Just leave. That's hot." Olivia added, "When your mother in law is the CEO of fun."
In the second TikTok, she and Lisa sang along to Muni Long's "Made for Me," as they watched Christian and the 49ers beat the Buccaneers from their box at the stadium.
"When you're reunited with your MIL after 10 long weeks without football," Olivia wrote on the video, adding in the caption, "WEEK 10 WE'RE BACK!!!"
The Culpo clan had taken a break during the first part of the NFL season as Christian spent the first eight games on the injured reserve list for the team's previous 2024 games.
But it also gave Olivia, 32, and the 28-year-old time to work on their new home in Los Angeles.
"Now onto my next project," Olivia wrote in an Oct. 29 Instagram Story, alongside a photo of the house. "The most exciting one of all. Our forever home."
"So much original character to protect in this home," she added. "It's going to be such a special project."
And the home updates will provide another way for the couple—who married in Rhode Island in June—to stay connected while Christian is on the road, which is something they very much prioritize with a few other strategies.
"We just started a book club but we're the only people in it, which is really funny," she recently told E! News. "I'm picking out girly girl thrillers and I'm making him want to read them."
She noted they also try to have a date night "at least twice a month," but confessed it does get more difficult during the NFL season.
"But just prioritizing one-on-one time," she continued. "I'm very excited about our book club. I highly recommend that, because it's been funny and fun."
